![]() I'll be honest (as one of the two people quoted) and I guess this doubles as a response to >122430219, this thread is worthless 99% of the time so why not have some off topic realtalk. Ele only changes because it's PVP playstyle is too low damage for the DPS race that is PvE, and it's DPS build is too glassy PVP. I've played a lot more ele than mes (which shows in my descriptions) but mesmer seems to play largely the same in both gamemodes. In zerk/marauders with full illusions you can kill just about anything short of a full bunker build with that and maybe a couple more skills. Try to use sword to set up an immobilize->shatter combo. Take a shield or torch offhand and use that to make yourself a hard to kill cunt while spamming clones and shatters. On bosses with invuln phases take Timewarp and abuse your F5 shatter to ensure you get two Timewarps in on burn phases.Ĭhronomancer. LEarn your various fields/blasts, stack yourself a shitload of might to punch people in the face and use your water attunement/water dodges/cantrips to keep yourself standing.īe a chronomancer, use a sword, shit out clones and shatter forever so that everyone is covered in alacrity always. Where in PvE you were a glass DPS at range, here you're a moderately tanky melee bruiser. ![]() And if tempest, overload Fire every so often for more might/damage.ĭagger/Dagger. Make sure to pack some blasts and take the persisting flames trait so you shit out might and fury by blasting your 2. You can also be a Tempest and use Air Overload now and then to stack a shitload of vuln + get some more damage into that cycle. Get a staff, zerker gear (sub in a few pieces of valk if you aren't so good at dodging, turn them into zerk once you git gud) and a staff. Muh new legendaries requiring muh legendary effort. >Gift of Maguuma Mastery is probably the easy bit >even more hours of farming this shit, just to make one single part of the Gift of Maguuma Mastery, of which you still need 200 Spirit Shards, full HoT map completion and whatever the fuck Gift of Insight is. >these obviously can't be done at the same time >this requires you to do a full 2 hour run in Dragon Stand and can usually net around 10 - 15 per run, averaging at 12. >you also need Crystalline Ore to make the ingots >fugurite requires you to do this for every other map >this is just for one fourth of the fulgurite >it could literally take you nearly 27 hours of solid farming, NOT INCLUDING OPENING THE CHESTS to get all the sparks >assuming an average of around 300 per "run" that's 150 per hour >it takes 2 hours for this to fully run through >an average blank t0 - gerent (fail) usually results in maybe 200 - 400 crystals if you're lucky >this works out to be around 4,000 crystals >on average a single leyline spark works out to be around 16 crystals >a single chak acid is 8 leyline crystals ![]() You can also get infusions from WvW which can boosts your stats for a very tiny amount. Those only really come into play once you start running fractals. You can buy said infusions inside the fractal hub with the currency you gain from playing fractals or through drops inside said fractals. In any case, don't waste laurels on trinkets which focus on healing or some other niche without proper damage capabilities unless you want to use some niche build in WvW or something. Lots of ele's get celestial trinkets and specially for different gamemodes with various armor sets and runes. If you aren't quite ready to risk getting oneshot by everything in the game, celestial a solid choice too specifically for ele, since they can tap into various sources of damage and healing. Berserker trinkets are probably most useful for PvE since they maximize damage (since they fit on most the other classes too). Kinda depends on your build and preferred gamemode. Or, leave your name and server here so someone can check this post and invite you. You can also send a mail asking to be in the guild, if nobody is online. Guilds are cross-server, and the only real reason to choose the server above is if you want to be on the same WvWvW team.
